Jeyes

The British have been cleaning up with Jeyes Fluid for more than 130 years, and its maker has held a royal warrant since 1896. The disinfectant heads a product roster that also includes Parozone bleach and Wet Ones wipes. The Norfolk company has expanded its factory in Mexico and boosted manufacturing in Eastern Europe and China in response to booming overseas demand. Legal & General Ventures took the business private in a £91m deal in 2002. Under chief executive Mike Colley, sales were £172.4m in 2007.
