Joseph Heler has been producing cheese for more than 60 years, and today makes 40 different varieties at its Cheshire site. As well as traditional products, such as Wensleydale and Cheshire, the firm also makes cheese for the British and continental ingredient market, for ready meals, pizzas, sandwiches and sauces. Under Mike Heler, 61, son of the founder, profits rose to £4.1m in 2017.
