London-based Kelway supplies infrastructure hardware to more than 3,000 clients and offers IT services such as consultancy and training. The company was founded in 1990 by chief executive Phil Doye at the age of 21, and in 2006 Core Capital invested £5m for a 25% stake. Kelway has bought five businesses since 2007, including Panacea in 2009, which has an office in Dubai serving the Middle East. This acquisition has helped to boost international sales by 249% a year, from £1.6m in 2008 to £19.2m in 2010.
