Kent Foods began trading in 1992, selling ingredients to Scottish food manufacturers. Under founder Iain Dalglish, 67, the Glasgow firm now specialises in sugar, sweeteners, oil, fats and dairy products. It has expanded across Britain and exports to mainland Europe, where its major markets are Holland and Belgium. International turnover reached £28.6m in 2014.
