This Belfast firm develops customer relationship and case-management software for 170 public-sector clients in Europe and North America, including the local governments of New York City and San Francisco. Earlier this year Lagan, co-founded by chief technology officer David Moody, secured $10m of funding to expand further in America. It also launched two programmes to provide the British public sector with software to manage social services and social housing. Sales have increased 50% a year from £4.3m in 2004 to £14.3m in 2007.
