Supplying nearly 10,000 tons of meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables a week to the world’s largest food companies, Lamex has taken on a critical role during the pandemic, maintaining stocks of frozen and chilled goods for supermarket chains and ready-meal manufacturers. It has 23 offices in 15 countries, and is led by a management board of company shareholders who all work within the business, headed by chief executive Phil Wallace, 70.
