Top Track 100

Whether it is making high-precision components for the aerospace industry or packaging for the food and drinks market, this engineering group has continued to prosper. It was founded in 1975 by chairman and chief executive Tony Langley, 58, who has built up the group, partly through acquisitions. Last year it bought Manroland Sheetfed, a German printing press manufacturer that has 40 subsidiaries around the world. The deal catapulted Langley onto the Top Track 100 with revenues of £718m, up 72% in 2012.
