Fast Track 100

This direct-marketing agency has four call centres with a total of 1,700 seats handling calls for clients such as Carphone Warehouse and O2. Sales have grown 58% a year, from an annualised £7.4m in 2001 to £28.9m in 2004, largely as a result of adding broader database services, such as researching customer lifestyles and developing products for bespoke marketing campaigns. The firm was founded by Paul Beck and Tim Borthwick in 1996. In October 2004 Isis Equity Partners paid £23m for a majority stake.
