This London company serves up nutritious treats for pets, with its lines including a Christmas advent calendar for dogs containing hand-baked cheese and apple biscuits. The company was founded in 2008 by Henrietta Morrison, 48, after she cured her border terrier Lily’s ailments with a superfood diet. The company now sells more than 65 varieties of cat and dog food, free from cheap fillers and additives, that are stocked by Waitrose, Pets at Home and Tesco. The foods are developed with the help of vets, nutritionists and a panel of canine tasters, and have generated £14.5m in sales this year. The US private-equity firm L Catterton acquired a minority stake in 2015.
