Leicestershire-based Logson is a packaging group founded nine years ago by Ian Loggie, 51, and Mike Stephenson, 55. Acquisitions include: Board 24, a corrugated sheet maker; Boxes and Packaging, which converts board into corrugated cases; and carton firm Inspirepac. Investing in new machinery has enabled Logson to respond more quickly to customer orders. Profits were £17.8m on sales of £168m in 2012.
