Two self-styled internet nerds set up this ecommerce business in 2002, and it now sells one-in-three sex toys bought online in the UK. Richard Longhurst, 46, and Neal Slateford, 52, have now launched American, French, Australian and German websites, and the Bath firm sells to distributors and retailers around the world. The retailer has exclusive rights to manufacture Fifty Shades of Grey adult toys and bondage items, and this, plus the relaunch of its erotica brand Coco de Mer, helped profits hit £3.3m last year.
