Marshall of Cambridge has acquired several more car franchises in the past 18 months and now has 42 showrooms selling 16 marques. Its new results are therefore expected to be well up on the £490m the company reported in 2002, the latest figure available. Marshall also has aviation operations. It maintains the RAF’s Hercules fleet and aircraft for several airlines. The company also designed Concorde’s droop nose.
