Maxymiser’s software and services let companies test changes to their web, mobile and social sites. This enables them to see which content and promotions are the most successful in achieving their aims, such as boosting sales and profits, before permanently modifying the site. The London firm attributes growth to increased sales in the US. Founded in 2006 by Mark Simpson and Bill Dobbie, sales grew 86% a year from £929,000 in 2008 to £6m in 2011. Maxymiser raised £7.5m in January 2012 in a funding round led by Investor Growth Capital and Pentech Ventures.
