Former art teacher, Laurie Boyall, turned techno-recruiter when he saw the opportunity to set up a recruitment company specialising in the technology and finance industries. He got help from an American business angel (How found?) and partnered up with Kay McGregor, the other founder. Moving into contract recruitment has helped the company grow gross revenues from £1.6m in 1994 to £18.5m in 1997. More recently the London-based business has benefited from the surge in Year 2000- and Euro-compliance jobs.
