Founded by managing partners Andrew Jeal and David Lucas in 1994, MediaVest’s customers include Greggs, JD Williams, Magnet Kitchens and Thomas Cook. Due to the downturn, a number of clients cut their marketing expenditure, and the group saw sales fall to £168.2m in 2010. In anticipation of this, the business moved its focus to high-margin media channels and reduced operating costs. As a result, operating profit increased to £6.5m.
