Top Track 100

This group runs 900 petrol stations under brands including BP, Shell and Esso, selling 4.5 billion litres of fuel annually. It also has food partnerships with Costa, Subway and Greggs. MFG kept its stations open during lockdown, despite a drop in fuel sales, to provide essential goods to local communities. The St Albans-based group is led by chief executive William Bannister, 53, and chairman Alasdair Locke, 66, an oil industry veteran. Its majority shareholder is the American private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
