Jaspal Singh and Inderjit Dhother founded Microline in 1995 with a small amount of savings to sell mobile-phone packages on behalf of networks such as Orange, 3 and Vodafone. The company sells through three shops in West London and a call centre, and reaches its target market by advertising on local radio and in newspapers. It has grown sales 110% a year, from £1.1m in 2001 to £9.9m in 2004.
