Midas Group

The construction group Midas has grown from small beginnings in the 1970s to become one of the biggest players in its sector in southern England. The Exeter business is led by chairman Steve Hindley and does everything from affordable housing to property development. It has recently worked on projects ranging from building an Asda supermarket using recycled materials to creating new interiors for clients including Lloyds TSB and the Ministry of Defence. Sales reached £203.2m in 2007.
