Fast Track 100

Manchester-based Mission Mars operates 11 food, beverage and leisure venues across the northwest, including the live music venue Albert Hall and the Bavarian-themed restaurant and beer cellar Albert’s Schloss — both of which are located in a grade II listed former church in Spinningfields. Industry veterans Roy Ellis, 56, and Neil Macleod, 55, joined forces with couple Joel Wilkinson, 51, and Adelaide Winter, 41, to establish the group in 2015. Last April it acquired the pizzeria brand Rudy’s, which it has since expanded to three restaurants. It raised £10.2m from the growth-capital firm BGF in July. Sales hit an annualised £27.7m in September.
