MK Airlines’ fleet of Boeing 747 and DC-8 freight aircraft operates air-cargo services to 30 destinations across the globe. Based in Hartfield, East Sussex, the company was founded in 1991 to transport perishable goods such as pineapples from Africa, but now carries a full range of cargo. The company has recently established a distribution centre at Ostend airport. Sales reached £168.2m in 2006, under the leadership of founder and managing director Mike Kruger.
