Claiming to cover 1.5m flight deals each day, Cheapflights acts as a price-comparison platform on which the likes of British Airways, Expedia and Thomas Cook can advertise their latest deals. The company has sites in Britain, the Continent and north America, and recently expanded into Australasia. The sites in different countries were once run separately, but in the past 12 months the company has introduced a platform that can operate them all. This has fuelled plans for aggressive international expansion. The firm is led by chief executive Chris Cuddy, and its sales have grown 50% a year from £7.8m in 2005 to £26.3m in 2008. Cheapflights is the only company to make it into the Tech Track 100 for six consecutive years.
