The Morris Group has been building homes across the Midlands and northwest England for more than 50 years. It now focuses on urban regeneration, returning brownfield land to productive use by building energy-efficient homes in landscaped settings. In 2004 chief executive Mike Gaskell led the Cheshire company’s third management buyout, a £170m deal backed by Quayle Munro and Royal Bank of Scotland. Morris Group reported sales of £172.6m in 2006.
