Morson’s Fit for Work app, which uses artificial intelligence to identify temporary workers who may have been exposed to the coronavirus, was introduced in March to support safety on its sites. In April, its engineers began producing visors for NHS staff using 3D printing, and helped to construct the Nightingale hospitals and make ventilators. The Salford-based group, which is an engineering design consultancy and recruitment specialist, is led by chief executive Ged Mason, 56, and is set to play a key role in sourcing skilled labour for the HS2 rail project.
