This firm set up a network for estate agents that wanted to market their properties nationally. Now it has repeated the trick with a network of 70 solicitors’ firms selling conveyancing services. This new business handled 25,000 transactions in 2005 and contributed 40% of the company’s revenue. However, its main business remains a part-exchange service, which introduces developers such as David Wilson Homes and Persimmon to people looking to swap their home for a newly-built house. Founded by five directors and based in Cambridgeshire, movewithus has grown its sales 75% a year from £2.2m in 2003 to £12m in 2006.
