Husband and wife John and Jacqui Simpson are known by colleagues as the “Basil and Sybil Fawlty” of the multimedia design world. Good-natured opposition may characterise their working relationship, but it has proved creative.
London-based MultiJac, the digital multimedia company they founded from their home in 1994, has gone on to design promotional CD-Roms for Ford and interactive training programmes for British Telecommunications and Jaguar. Sales have grown 139% a year, from £236,000 in 1998 to £1.4m in 2000.
