If you watched the London 2012 Olympics, you may remember the athletes’ village, which was built with the help of this construction company. Entrepreneur Philip Munnelly, 64, founded the Harrow-based firm in 1977. It has since formed partnerships with Canary Wharf and Network Rail, and has offices throughout the UK. This year, it launched its own software, Fatigue 360, which calculates the tiredness of employees through measuring factors such as commute and shift hours, and reports a 38% reduction in worker accidents since its implementation. The company’s expansion outside the M25 helped it to hit sales of £81.2m in 2019 and it is targeting future expansion overseas in Holland and Ireland, as well as in Australia.
