Britain’s biggest chain of dentists appointed a new chief executive, Terry Scicluna, 57, last year and in June it announced it was considering a stock market listing. The Bolton firm has been growing through acquisitions, buying the Dental Directory in April. In 2011 private equity firms Carlyle and Palamon Capital Partners bought IDH and merged it with Associated Dental Practices.
