Nallatech designs and makes high-performance systems that, it claims, help computers run a hundred times faster than those powered by conventional microprocessors. Founded by Allan Cantle in 1993, the Glasgow company’s technology is used for research and development in the military, aerospace and medical sectors. It has attracted £5m of investment from 3i and Scottish Equity Partners since it started. Expansion into America has helped sales grow 42% a year from £1.6m in 2002 to £3.3m in 2004.
