The Birmingham company owns five venues, which will be involved in the city’s 2022 Commonwealth Games, hosting nine sports. Future plans include building one of Europe’s first 360-degree cinemas and transforming a former cinema in Bradford into a 4,000-capacity live events venue. Last October, the group was sold for £800m to investment firm Blackstone, just three years after being acquired by private equity firm, LDC, for £307m. The group is led by chief executive Paul Thandi, 53.
