The system is now sold to thousands of clinics and hospitals across Europe and Australasia. Clinical academic Neil Meredith and technical expert Fredrik Engman set up Neoss eight years ago and still run the company, achieving sales growth of 99% a year from £987,000 in 2004 to £7.8m in 2007. Backed byMMCVentures, Delta Partners and Medtronic, the firm has received more than £15m in investment since it was launched in 2000.
