Consumers are increasingly turning to the internet to find insurance, loans and debt-management packages, and Netbasic is developing financial comparison website portals to enable them to do so. Sole shareholder Luke Ashworth founded the Fareham company with a £2,000 pay cheque in 2003, and his future plans include the creation of further consumer websites. Sales have rocketed 235% a year from an annualised £255,000 in 2004 to £9.6m in 2007.
