Fast Track 100

Set up in 1994 with a £150,000 loan from private investors, NetKonect was one of the first internet service providers in Britain to target small and medium-sized businesses, says Andrew Birch, its founder. A client list that includes FTSE 100 companies such as the publisher Emap has driven up sales 71% a year from £1m in 1998 to £5.1m in 2001, when the Basingstoke company had 37 staff.

This profile reflects the company at time of publication and does not reflect any changes that may have subsequently occurred. Fast Track and its sponsors do not endorse, guarantee or recommend investment in any of the companies.
