It provides specialist software, outsourcing and IT services to public sector clients, including local government authorities and schools. The company operates in 46 countries across five continents and was delisted in March 2008 by private equity firm KKR for a reported £597m. Under chief executive Chris Stone sales reached £542.8m in 2008.
