Northgate sold its managed services division in March to the outsourcing company Capita for £65m. It will now focus on its global HR division – which accounts for 65% of revenues – and expand its public-sector services. These include managing the records of every hospital admission in England and processing 5.5m annual parking tickets and speeding fines. Northgate was delisted by the private equity house KKR for a reported £593m in 2008. In 2012 its sales reached £851m under chief executive Adel Al-Saleh, 49.
