Founded by former engineer David Miller and now run by managing director Tim Keyes, NWP has grown sales 71% a year from £2m in 2002 to £9.8m in 2005. Nearly half of its sales come from the installation of low-voltage electrical and heating systems in small factories and schools. It also offers high-voltage installations to hospitals and firms such as Scottish Power and BAE Systems. The North Wales firm recently won a £2m contract to design and install utilities for The Paradise Project – a mixed-use regeneration project in Liverpool. It also maintains utilities, such as street lighting for local authorities.
