Tech Track 100

This Buckinghamshire company develops bespoke IT and telecoms services for businesses. It claims, for example, that its phone cards are used by 2,000 corporate clients. It also sells its products through wholesalers and resellers – and has 500 residential customers. Co-founded by chief executive David Breith, who now owns 95% of the shares, the firm started out in 2002 as a reseller of telecom fixed lines but has since expanded into data networking, internet telephony and a range of web hosting services. It now plans to package and sell its Merlin software, originally developed to handle its own customer billing, project management and internal accounting. Sales at the company have grown 134% a year from £1.4m in 2005 to £7.7m in 2007.
