This third-generation family business designs and manufactures antennas for mobile communications systems. Tracing its roots back to 1947, it made television accessories and transistor aerials before partnering with Vodafone in the 1980s. Customers now include the emergency services as well as utilities, transport and telecoms firms. The London-based company opened a French subsidiary in 2018 to help mitigate Brexit, adding one in Singapore a year later to those it already had in America and Australia. Joint managing directors Andrew Jesman, 68, and Christopher Jesman, 65, oversaw profits of £3.7 million in 2019.
