Paragon Labels

Lincolnshire-based Paragon, founded by Tony Lennon in 1994, makes labels for ready-to-eat supermarket food such as salads, pasta and sandwiches.

The company’s profits grew 39% a year from £1.2m in 1998 to £3.1m in 2001. In December 2001 Barclays Private Equity invested £7.5m in the company to fund growth.
