This pasta kit subscription delivery service offers recipes such as lobster, crab and prawn ravioli, and beef and truffle tortelloni. It was founded in 2016 by managing director Alessandro Savelli, 40, chief operating officer Chris Rennoldson, chief marketing officer Finn Lagun, and chairman James McArthur, 60. Sales quadrupled to £4.1m in 2020, and are forecast to reach £13m next year. A 2018 appearance on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den did not lead to investment, but the company has raised £5.2m in funding, including a £3.5m round in February this year led by Pembroke VCT and Guinness Asset Management; other investors include food writer Giles Coren, and celebrity chef Prue Leith, of Great British Bake Off fame.
