This Northampton-headquartered car dealership group was selling accessories for horse-drawn carriages in 1908 when the founding Perry brothers persuaded Henry Ford and André Citroën to test the British appetite for their motor cars. Today, Perrys operates 49 dealerships and represents 15 brands. Chairman Ken Savage, 51, and the late Paul Millard, completed a £27m management buyout of the automotive dealership division of the listed Perrys Group in 2001.
