Perrys trades from 26 locations, the latest of which opened in 2004 in High Wycombe and Aylesbury. Now based in Northampton, the company says that it is Britain’s largest independent Peugeot dealer. Chairman Ken Savage and managing director Ray Somerville raised sales by £18m to £378m in 2005. The current business, owned by management and members of the founding family, was formed in 2001 through a £27m buyout of the motor sales arm of the quoted Perrys Group backed by Bank of Scotland.
