This Northampton-headquartered car dealership group was selling accessories for horse-drawn carriages in 1908 when the founding Perry brothers persuaded Henry Ford and André Citroën to test the British appetite for their cars. Today, Perrys operates 53 dealerships and represents 15 marques. Chairman Ken Savage, 52, led the acquisition of rival GK Group in August, a deal that it says will add £175m to total sales.
