Not content with selling products such as life insurance and mortgages to more than 2,000 independent financial advisers, Personal Touch has started selling some of its products to 15,000 other financial brokers. It also offers services such as compliance training, marketing support and online sourcing and quotation facilities. Other new departures include surveying, conveyancing and repossession services. The venture-capital firm LDC bought a minority stake in a £50m deal last September. The company’s sales have grown 63% a year from £17.8m in 2003 to £76.7m in 2006.
