Founded by Gail Tunesi in 2001, PMI Field Marketing has boosted its sales by winning larger contracts for field marketing campaigns. This includes sending out teams that check the prominence of clients’ products in shops and the use of promotional material. Customers include Universal Pictures, Heinz and Kodak as well as Red Bull. PMI says that a short-term project for the latter went so well that the company now handles all field marketing for Red Bull in independent and cash-and-carry stores. Sales rose 57% a year from an annualised £1.5m in 2001 to £5.8m in 2004.
