Fast Track 100

ADR’s co-founder Keith Churchhouse began his career at 18 as one of Britain’s youngest coach drivers. He set up the transport recruitment company ADR in 1997 with Emma Guyton and her father Nick, and the firm says it now places 750 drivers a week with customers such as J Sainsbury and Safeway. ADR has 13 offices in England and Wales, and recently started sourcing drivers from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland because there is a shortage of British drivers. Sales at the St Albans company grew 96% a year from £1.7m in 2000 to £12.9m in 2003.
