A Recent acquisition has taken this supplier of ovens, dishwashers and fridge-freezers into the more glamorous business of celebrity-endorsed kitchen products. Its new ranges are endorsed by GI-diet specialist Rosemary Conley, wine connoisseur Oz Clarke and Cosmopolitan magazine. However, the company’s core business remains designing and importing kitchen products, and selling them to the likes of B&Q, Currys and Tesco under Premium Appliance’s own and licensed brands, such as Cuisina, Lofra and White Westinghouse, as well as under retailers’ own brand names. Founders Guy Weaver and Peter Brazier have raised the company’s sales 98% a year from an annualised £2.6m in 2003 to £20.6m in 2006.
