Starting out as a single regional business in 1979, ProCam is now one of the largest agronomy companies in Britain, providing technical support to many of Britain’s big crop producers. It offers a range of services, from crop rotation planning and budgeting to seed processing and soil sampling. By working with their agronomists, ProCam claims crop producers can improve profitability by increasing yield and therefore reducing the cost per tonne of production. Led by chairman Tony White, the business saw sales reach £151.8m in 2009.
