Radius provides 1.2 million fuel cards to fleet operators worldwide, partnering with firms such as BP, Shell and Exxon. Founder and chief executive Bill Holmes, 56, sold a minority stake to Inflexion in a 2017 deal valuing Radius at £800m. It has since diversified into vehicle tracking and fleet insurance, and its telecoms division has offered short-term hire at discounted rates for customers navigating the coronavirus crisis. Last year, the company made eight acquisitions and expanded into Australia as gross sales hit £2.6bn. In December 2018 it opened a £14m head office in Crewe.
