Ramsden Holdings’ subsidiary, Ramsden International, deals with all the group’s exports. It sells a range of food products primarily to stores serving British expatriate communities. Under managing director Sean Ramsden, international sales have grown by 24% a year from £27m in 2009 to £41.5m in 2011. The Grimsby company attributes this growth to favourable exchange rates, its range of more than 23,000 different items, and a strategy of advising clients on all aspects of buying and selling Ramsden products.
