Redeem refurbishes, resells and recycles electronic devices for mobile network operators, corporate customers and consumers. In June it launched Envirofone shop, an online store that sells second-hand devices direct to consumers. Serial investor and chairman Trevor Bayley, 54, bought out the founder in 2011 and now works alongside chief executive Claes Svensson, 53. The company has made acquisitions and expanded overseas to quadruple sales to £80m, although margins were slim. Redeem now has operations in central Europe, Hong Kong and Dubai and last year secured a £15.5m investment from Connection Capital and Praesidian Capital Europe.
